A line out of Psalm 16 really stuck out to me when I was reading yesterday, so I had made a quick sketch in my notebook of a design with the phrase "I have a beautiful inheritance". Tonight, I took that sketch, made a font, and turned it into a design that I really liked.

The youth group of my church was looking for a new logo/identity for the youth group. I designed this series of logos so that the youth group as a whole is identified by the circle logo and a similar font, but both middle school and high school youth groups (The Edge, The Bridge) can be identified by which color is being used. I also created my own font for this one which was a fun project.

I never got around to posting this video, but this is something I spent a lot of time helping out on this summer. A friend and constant collaborater, Chris Binkley, was commissioned to make this video for a non-profit in Liberty. I helped with titles, played drums and helped compose the music, and just did other general help for the video (I also make an appearance with an awesome cannonball).

A friend of mine and I are in the beginnings of starting a business. We have put a lot of effort into finding the logo that we need for this, and have gone through quite a few ideas to get to the one we officially decided with. I can't show the full logo, but I can show the progression of the image portion of the logo. The top logo was the first, second logo was the second, and the bottom logo is the final.

The work I have done for this Accelerate campaign for North Heartland has been some of the most grueling, eye opening, extremely enjoyable work I have ever done in design. I have worked on this project for the past two months and I have finally completed it. Now, I have a much better picture of what it is like to work on a large project. I was solely responsible for all the design work for this whole campaign which really was pretty stressful at times. Overall though, I am really proud of this and happy to call it mine. I posted a few of the various resources I designed for the project.
